Trailer for ‘Alphas’ stars Ryan Cartwright

On July 11, Syfy is premiering Alphas, an actioner from writers Zak Penn (X-Men: The Last Stand) and Michael Karnow about five ordinary folks were are brought together to form one helluva crime-fighting team. The series stars David Strathairn (Good Night, and Good Luck), Malik Yoba (New York Undercover), Warren Christie (October Road), Laura Mennell (Watchmen), Ryan Cartwright (Mad Men), and Azita Ghanizada (Castle).

“Ho, ho,” I thought to myself. “Someone has had the idea that it would be amusing for the ‘quintessentially English’ Mr Fry to be seen ‘taking afternoon tea’ with a broad from the Bowery. Oh well, one plays these games and the scones did look rather delicious. I readied my iPhone for recording, sat on the sofa and consulted the notebook in which I had jotted down my questions.
