Michaela Conlin on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (January 8, 2014)

Michaela Conlin (Angela on Bones) appeared on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on January 8, 2014 along with guest Mark Wahlberg.

Michaela reveals she’s a sucker for a burger and a little eye contact. Even though she’s from Allentown, PA, she prefers Hall & Oats to the music of Billy Joel. She spent the Christmas break visiting her nephews in Florida. She also enjoyed a solo trip to Iceland where she saw volcanoes, a lot of sheep, and very attractive people.

Hart Hanson provided some helpful tips for her visit to the show like not starring directly into the mug on Craig’s desk because it’s bewitching.

Over the summer, he posted photos of their road trip across America and finally revealed his lovely lady Leah to the world.

Last week, they visited New York City and found Santa at Macy’s Department Store.

Then, they wished us all Merry Christmas from Berlin.

Now, they are setting off on an entirely new adventure together. We wish them the very best.

Stephen Fry will host the 2014 British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA)

Stephen Fry, who portrays forensic psychologist Dr. Gordon Wyatt on Bones, will once again host the British Academy and Film Awards (BAFTA) on Sunday, February 16, 2014. In 2013, Fry was responsible for leading the awards show to its highest ratings since 2004. When he takes the stage at the Royal Opera House in Covert Garden, the U.K. writer, comedian, actor, renaissance man will be making his ninth hosting appearance for the U.K.’s most prestigious film awards. BAFTA nominations will be unveiled on January 8, 2014.

As a lover of film, Stephen Fry made it known he is honored to be offered another chance to host the awards even though he feels each appearance increases the odds something horribly embarrasing will happen.

Bones Comic Con 2013

San Diego Comic Con LogoBones stars David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel along with show creator Hart Hanson and executive produce Ian Toynton, who will director the first episode of season 9, wowed Ballroom 20 at San Diego Comic Con 2013 on Friday afternoon July 19 from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm. Executive producer Stephen Nathan was scheduled to join then but attended in spirit as he was unable to make it.

Prior to the panel, the four Bones representatives hit the Press Room, trying their best to answer questions without giving too much away. A few minutes later, the performers and producers were walking on stage to thunderous applause from the hall packed with Bones fans.

Following the introductions, David as Agent Booth, got down on one knee and proposed to Brennan giving fans the photo opportunity of a life time. “Do you want to do this the right way?” he asks the room.

Rather than show clips from the season eight ending episode, Emily and David read through highlights by switching parts. Emily read Booth’s part in her best jock cop voice while it took David longer to get into character because he kept getting distracted by examining pretend bones.

Ian Toynton will direct the opening episode of season 9 which begins filming on Monday. The episode “The Secret in the Proposal” will pick up three months from where we left off. Booth and Brennan’s relationship is rocky and Booth, who has no one to confide in, consults an old friend who used to be a priest.

Hart Hanson confirms, there will definitely be a Booth and Brennan wedding this season!

While discussing Christopher Pelant, Hart Hanson is tricked into revealing Pelant will meet his end this season. David offers many potential ways this could plan out including floating him out in space, Moonraker-style.

“I don’t like serial killers they just kill a lot of people and aren’t very interesting characters to me.” — Hart Hanson

Hart explains how the rotating crew of squinterns are only available until one of them lands an extended role. His hope for the next squintern would be a totally unbearable person who is wheelchair bound.

After answering moderated questions, fans were able to pose a few queries of their own.

If Emily was a character in the Angel universe what would she be like? Emily jumps in, “Immortal. Let’s just start there.” They decide on “Sister Soultaker.”

Will Sweets get back with Daisy?
Hart Hanson: “I don’t want to tell you. I’ll say this. Sweets is still on the show and Daisy is still on the show. Please watch and find out.”

Will we ever see Dr Zack Addy again?
Hart Hanson: “Never say never”

Where would you like to film an international episode? Emily chimes right in with Morocco and Paris. David lists Rome as his top choice. Ian would love to return to London. “Where they have horrible coffee and everything’s fried”, sings David.

Hart reveals that in the event the television series comes to an end, we can talk about a Bones feature film.

A Day with Bones at Comic Con

Emily and David both tweeted they were driving to San Diego for the day just to attend this yearly event.

While fans were already taking their places in ballroom 20, David Boreanaz started the day by appearing on the local Fox station’s morning show.

Then, David had enough time to squeeze in an interview with Michael Ausiello for TV Line.

Emily Deschanel’s great look can be attributed in part to her natural beauty but today, her hair is by David Garnder and makeup by Amy Nadine.

Next, David and Emily had a photo shoot with Entertainment Weekly.
