Ryan O’Neal (Brennan’s father, Max Keenan on Bones) has joined the ever expanding list of stars in Terrance Malick’s (The Thin Red Line) next film, Knight of Cups. So far, the film has drawn the likes of Christian Bale (The Dark Knight), Natalie Portman (Black Swan), Cate Blanchett (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button ), Freida Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire), and Wes Bentley (The Hunger Games). Still no word on the plot, official casting list or O’Neal’s role.

On Wednesday, the Crown Archetype imprint of Random House’s Crown Publishing Group said it had acquired a memoir from Mr. O’Neal, tentatively titled “Past Imperfect” and planned for a spring 2012 release, that will focus on his relationship with the actress Farrah Fawcett.
