On Wilfred Season 2, Episode 6 "Avoidance", Wilfred and Ryan's friendship is threatened during a sticky encounter. Eugene Byrd (Clark Edison on Bones) guest stars as Ryan's friend James on an all new episode, Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 10pm on FX.
Wilfred is the U.S. version of an Australian cult sitcom about a meek young man, Ryan (Elijah Wood) and his neighbor's pot-smoking talking dog named Wilfred (actually actor Jason Gann in a dog suit, whom everyone else sees as just a dog). Gann also played Wilfred in the Australian version.

Ryan O'Neal (Brennan's father, Max Keenan on Bones) has joined the ever expanding list of stars in Terrance Malick's (The Thin Red Line) next film, Knight of Cups. So far, the film has drawn the likes of Christian Bale (The Dark Knight), Natalie Portman (Black Swan), Cate Blanchett (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button ), Freida Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire), and Wes Bentley (The Hunger Games). Still no word on the plot, official casting list or O'Neal's role.
