Born May 16, 1969 in Buffalo, New York.
David grew up in an entertainment family. Using the stage name David Thomas, his father hosted the television show Rocketship 7 on Buffalo's WKBW-TV, starring with his puppet, Mr. Beeper, and a dishwasher-shaped robot named Promo[1][2][3]. He also hosted Dialing for Dollars[1].
David graduated from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York, where he majored in cinema and photography.
He married social worker Ingrid Quinn in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 7, 1997[4]. They were divorced in 1999.
He married Playboy Playmate of the Month (January 1999) and actress, Jaime Bergman on November 24, 2001[5]. The couple met at a Valentine's Day party, held at the Playboy Mansion earlier that year[5]. They have two children together, Jaden Rayne Boreanaz (born May 1, 2002), Bella Vita Bardot Boreanaz (August 31, 2009).
He is afraid of chickens after being shut in a barn, at camp, as a kid, with roosters blocking his exit[1].
He does impressions: Robert De Niro on a merry-go-round[1] and Christopher Walken[6].
His favorite scary movie is “Burnt Offerings” with Karen Black and Oliver Reed[7].
Career
Television
David played the mysterious vampire, Angel, on Buffy the Vampire Slayer from 1997-1999 and continued the role as star of the spin-off, Angel (1999-2004). David stars as FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth on the Fox crime drama Bones. He is a producer on the series since season 3 and has directed several episodes. He is the only cast member to have produced, directed and starred in the same episode of the show.
Film
David's first big studio film was "Valentine," starring alongside Denise Richards[7].
