Laura Spencer Becomes A Big Bang Theory Series Regular
Laura Spencer joined The Big Bang Theory in Season 7 as Raj Koothrappali's latest girlfriend, Emily Sweeney. In Season 9, we'll be seeing a lot more of her now that she's been promoted to a regular on the series. Like comic book store owner Stuart, she won't appear in every episode but will be credited with the main cast when she does appear.
On Bones, Laura Spencer plays squintern Jessica Warren who first appeared at the end of Season 9 in Episode 23 The Drama in the Queen. Does this mean Bones will be killing off another squint? Not this time! Laura reports Jessica Warren is still alive and well on Bones.

This season, Bones took the throne by becoming longest airing drama on FOX. There has been speculation that, after 10 years, Emily Deschanel or David Boreanaz may be ready to move on. However, with contract deals completed for some major cast members, Bones will return for Season 11.
After his many years behind the scenes, showrunner Stephen Nathan is taking a break with hopes of rejoining the series later in the season. Executive producer Jonathan Collier and co-executive producer Michael Peterson, who have been with the show since 2011, will step in to lead the show through Season 11.
